My patients are always surprised when I tell them that chiropractic school curriculums are very similar to that of medical schools. The difference lies primarily in the emphasis. Chiropractic school emphasizes anatomy, physiology, neurology, biomechanics, x-ray, and nutrition. Medical school students receive more class hours in pharmacology and pathology. The intense training at National University of Health Sciences helped me develop my confidence in diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of human ailments from pediatrics to geriatrics from acute and chronic conditions to preventative/wellness care.’
